Veterinarian

Dr. Cattrina Lucas grew up with a fondness and interest in animal health and welfare.

Through accelerated academic programs, Dr. Lucas graduated high school at the age of 13. As an undergraduate she majored in microbiology and minored in music. At age 17 she transferred to UC Davis and received her bachelor’s degree in animal science.

After graduating from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine with an emphasis in large animal medicine, Dr. Lucas relocated to Bakersfield and worked for a large animal practice until starting her own practice in 2012.

Dr. Lucas is excited to continue her education and strives to be up to date on cutting edge technologies for her clients. She achieves this goal via continuing education with International Society for Equine Locomotor Pathology (ISELP), American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) and American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) wet labs and meetings.

Dr. Lucas and her husband Mike look forward to helping you and your animal in the near future.
